Simple Marinated Chicken Wings

This chicken wing marinade is easy to make, savory-sweet, and delicious. The chicken tastes even better if you double the sauce and marinate for 24 hours. This is my husband's favorite recipe for wings.

Ingredients

Ingredients List
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry

  • 1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • 24 chicken wings

Directions

  1. Whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, sherry, mustard, and garlic powder together in a bowl until combined.

  2. Arrange chicken wings in a 9x13-inch baking dish; pour marinade over chicken and cover with plastic wrap. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

  3. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Remove plastic wrap from the baking dish.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven, basting occasionally, until chicken wings are no longer pink in the center, about 1 hour. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
