  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups white sugar

  • 2 teaspoons baking soda

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-baking dish.

  2. Mix together flour, white sugar, and baking soda for cake in a large bowl and make a well in the center. Add eggs, crushed pineapple with juice, and vanilla; mix until well-combined. Pour into the prepared baking dish.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean, about 45 minutes.

  4. Meanwhile, combine cream cheese and butter for frosting in a mixing bowl; beat until smooth. Add confectioners' sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy.

  5. Spread frosting on warm cake.
